On April 12th Holy Ghost will be releasing their new album. I just had a listen to it HERE from start to finish. With new wave influence and those funky strutting basslines and synths melting each song together there is a strong album structure. Needless to say, the flow and pop melodies had me grooving like Prince in 1999. There's also a darker side to the album with a track named "Jam for Jerry", based on the tragic death of the band's drummer, Gerhardt Fuchs in 2009, carrying emotional lyrics, "It surrounds me/Drowns me in it/If I could change it all I would/ If only I could". All in All, I love this album after one listen through, so I'm sharing some of the songs for download now prior to the release of the album...but shhhhh.
